What is the Display
Campaign?
• An initiative to promote display of
energy performance certificates on public buildings
• Led by the network Energie-Cités
• Over 100 cities, regions, municipalities already active in
Europe
• Promotes improvements to energy use in buildings such as schools,
libraries, health centres, leisure centres, administrative buildings
• Second phase now in progress – “Towards Class
A” to promote more high rated energy performance buildings |

Why is EuroACE
involved?
• EuroACE is committed to the full
and early implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings
Directive
• This project shows that it is possible and beneficial to
display energy labels and promote action
• EuroACE has contacts in many cities that could also take
part
• EuroACE is involved in the project team to determine what
makes a Shining Example for others to follow
• These examples will be made public so that best practice
can spread |

and encourage your town or city to take part
• Identify any municipal buildings or projects that might
be Shining Examples
• Sponsor local dissemination visits to Shining Examples,
or the annual conference

about any meetings where a presentation about Display would be beneficial |
