National Energy Efficiency Action Plans: Commission sends reasoned opinions to two Member States
The European Commission decided on 3 April to send reasoned opinions to Greece and Latvia for failing to submit their National Energy Efficiency Action Plans as required by the Energy End-Use Efficiency and Energy Services Directive. A reasoned opinion is the final step in the legal procedure before referral to the European Court of Justice.

European Heating Controls Alliance's views on the Energy Labelling and Energy Using Products Directives
The EHCA, in response to the consultation on the revision of the Energy Labelling Directive, have called for heating controls - being key energy efficiency 'enablers' - to be added to its scope.
